Flyfishing the Diamond Fork

No, we didn't catch anything.  But what a wonderful day along a winding creek.  When Oakley first saw the water, he leaped in as if to splash like a cannon ball.  It's spring in the mountains, although you can still see the snow covered peaks in the distance. Chesney napped under her sun bonnet, though Wes insists she needs a real fishing hat for next time ( apparently fish don't like polka dots).

4 Months Old

 

My four month birthday began rather carefree. I awoke from a blissful night of 6 1/2 straight hours of sleep to a very happy mommy.  Then, I'm quickly stripped down to my bare essentials and tossed into a cold bath.  Next thing I know I'm in the bucket heading down to a morning appointment with Doctor Dave.  He pokes and prods with cold hands and tools, and then sticks me with needles in both legs...boo hoo!!  Didn't even care to admire the Tasmanian Devil Band Aides.  By the way, I am 14.5 lbs, 25 inches long, and a solid 75th percentile all around.

Handy Hand Me Downs

Kentucky cousins, Benji and Trey Davey Edds shared many of their favorite toys and other amazing items they've outgrown with baby Chesney.  The twins are 2 years and 353 days older than their newest counsin.  She is just now old enough to begin enjoying many of the toys.  Mike and Jen Neilsen passed on their two year old daughter, Sophia's Exersaucer just last week.  Chesney's tippy toes barely touch the floor, but ooh you should hear her giggle.

Snowshoe baby

 We've been out snowshoeing quite a bit this winter.  Chesney is bundled and waiting to be loaded up in the pack.  Oakley especially enjoys the family outings.
